MHWC is the sister company of RWC. Through MHWC, new home warranties are available on HUD-code homes for both Builders and Manufacturers. The 5 year MH Select program complies with the initiative developed by the Manufactured Housing Institute and Fannie Mae. It offers one year of coverage on workmanship and materials, two years on selected portions of mechanical systems, and five years on major structural components. Under the MH Select program, the Manufacturer provides assurance to the homebuyer in the first two years that warranty standards will be met, even if the Builder does not fulfill its own obligations.
This program is designed to provide greater accountability and added value to the homebuyer while upholding the integrity of the MH Select initiative.
